I was asked to create some cupboards to surround a window by the front door, they wanted as much storage as possible and somewhere to sit while putting on their shoes. I built two 3m tall units either side of the window with a connecting unit running along the bottom to sit on. Everything was made from birch plywood with painted doors with a solid brass rod at the top for hanging plants. I also inserted small brass discs in to the doors for push handles.
